JumpStart got me through some tough times

I have been a past recipient of JumpStart. Several years ago, I had a massive brain haemorrhage. I was in a bad place financially and mentally coming out of a bad relationship. JumpStart was there for me in my time of need when I had nowhere else to turn. JumpStart got me through some tough times. Leeton Shire is so fortunate to have such a great organisation.
I have since donated back to JumpStart to pay it forward; it was the least I could do; JumpStart made a terrible experience a lot easier for me to deal with, and I genuinely believe I would not have been able to recover as well as I did without their financial help. ~ Past Recipient of Leeton JumpStart Fund
HOW TO APPLY
Immediate aid when you need it most
Leeton JumpStart Fund offers a range of services designed to provide immediate and practical support. Follow the 4 simple steps to apply for assistance.
Call our helpline

Leave a message with your contact details and a brief outline of the emergency. You will be contacted within 24hrs by a volunteer helpline representative.
Interview
Our JumpStart assessment team will organise an interview with you to determine your needs.
Assessment
Your information will be referred to our experienced assessment committee who will determine what assistance will be provided.
Outcome
The lead interviewer will contact you to communicate the outcome and any measures to be put in place to assist you.
Please Note:
No funeral costs will be paid. JumpStart does not undertake fundraising for individual cases. The preferred method of providing financial relief is through direct payment of accounts to service providers by JumpStart.
Cash will only be issued in exceptional circumstances.

I am taking the time to write to you today to express my sincere gratitude to your organisation for your generous assistance in purchasing the Night Watch seizure monitor for my daughter who has Epilepsy.
The monitor arrived less than a week after payment and it has given us the confidence and reassurance for my daughter to be back sleeping in her own room, and I am finally getting some much needed sleep. It really has been a blessing for us, bringing us both peace of mind and we are extremely grateful.
